Established in January 1989 by Robert Wyner (Biography) and the late Jack Wetenhall, formally the director of the Government Accounting Office during the Reagan administration. Barclays Group International has progressed into the new millennium with an unblemished record of success. Operations in The United States are from the main office at the Barclays Building 249 Peruvian Avenue in Palm Beach, Florida. Foreign Offices are operational in Algeria, Angola, and Tunisia with a new office projected for the last quarter of 2008 in Libya. In 2003, the principals of Barclays Group International, Gedi Construction and Gerl Construction formed the Barclays Gedi Group (BGG), an international construction consortium with over 100 years of combined experience delivering large-scale development projects across the globe. Recently, BGG has been expanding rapidly in emerging economies with construction projects and operations in Algeria, Angola, Tunisia and Libya. BGG is also expediting its new security equipment division providing state-of-the-art U.S. manufactured biometric security equipment. Commercial real estate on a world wide basis offering advantageous investments tailored to meet the criteria of our clientele is directed by Gregory K. Weadock, Vice Chairman (Biography). Mr. Weadock joined Barclays in November 1994 directs  investment portfolios on behalf of investors from  The United Arab Emirates, The United Kingdom, Germany, France and South America. Barclays International Business Brokers under the direction of David Pinto (Biography), represents over one thousand businesses for sale on a National level. From small retail and restaurant establishments to football stadium sized manufacturing facilities. A dedicated team of Brokers each of whom are specialized in specific segments of business and business opportunities work together as a cohesive team to provide counseling to buyers and sellers world wide. Interrelating with other Barclays Group International Companies a foreign business person or off shore corporation may purchase a going business entity, a residence to reside in from our International Realty Division, with immigration visas and all logistical moves provided by our Prestige Client Service Program. Barclays International Realty has established a reputation for excellence in Florida, New York, Nevada and Overseas. Under the direction of Shirley Wyner (Biography) the firm is composed of two divisions, Residential Real Estate, for sales and rentals of Estates to Condominiums. Commercial Real Estate on a National basis, handling the sales and leasing of commercial properties including shopping centers, office buildings and warehousing.
